LA Clippers fans saw James Harden snub his LA Clippers in his all-time starting five, and had a lot to say about it.

James Harden is still chasing that elusive first NBA championship. Now entering his third season with the LA Clippers, he might have the best squad to achieve that goal.

The Clippers have done a lot of work this offseason. One of the first big moves of the offseason was the LA Clippers trading Norman Powell to land John Collins.

The Clippers followed this up by landing Bradley Beal after the star agreed to a buyout with the Phoenix Suns.

For the Clippers to then go and sign Chris Paul was a mission statement. But how will the Point God and Kawhi Leonard feel about James Harden’s recent comments?

James Harden appeared on a stream with YouTube star Lacy. When naming an all-time five comprised of his teammates, the Beard didn’t name his two current teammates – Chris Paul and Kawhi Leonard.

“That’s a good question. All right, let me think. Center – Joel Embiid. I thought about Dwight in his prime. That point guard position is crazy.

“You got CP, you got Russ, and you got Kyrie… Kyrie, Russ, me, KD, and Joel… I like that team… Small team that can run the floor, got handles, can shoot.”

Clippers fans in particular let their frustration be known on X. One fan wrote, “No Kawhi on here? Come on, now!”

While another fan took a harsher stance on Leonard’s omission, noting, “Crazy how he didn’t add Kawhi up here, almost as crazy how he never won anything.”

Some Clippers fans also defended Chris Paul, saying, “I’m taking CP3 over Kyrie & Westbrook.” This was a sentiment echoed by a fan who wrote, “No CP3 is insane.”

Another fan took this point further, claiming, “No CP3 when he’s the teammate he was arguably the closest to winning a chip with is nasty work.”

James Harden possibly hinting relationship with Chris Paul still strained

Not to be overly speculative, but could James Harden snubbing Chris Paul be a sign that things are not resolved between the two?

Harden and Paul famously fell out during their time together as teammates on the Houston Rockets.

Chris Paul recently shut down rumors of a falling out with Harden in 2018. But to be snubbed by his teammate for players Harden had a similarly tumultuous relationship with is curious.

Of course, this could all be nothing, and the two players may have put any issues behind them. However, comments like these from James Harden don’t help his case in the eyes of Clippers fans.

Hopefully, the former MVP can win over any lost Clippers fans with an excellent performance this season.
