Philadelphia 76ers forward Justin Edwards had a productive 2024-25 season as an undrafted rookie. The Philadelphia native earned a two-way deal out of Kentucky and then subsequently averaged 10.1 points and 3.4 rebounds and shot 36.3% from deep in 44 games.

Edwards was able to earn a standard deal in his rookie season and the Sixers then re-signed him to a longer-term deal in the offseason to keep him in the City of Brotherly Love for the next three seasons. He is a versatile player who fits the mold of what President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey is looking for with this group.

As Edwards prepares for his second season in the league, it appears he will change his uniform number from No. 19 as a rookie to No. 11. The number was last worn by Jeff Dowtin Jr. who is now overseas.

Regardless of the uniform number, Edwards will look to help the Sixers bounce back from an injury-riddled 2024-25 season. Philadelphia went 24-58 as injuries decimated the roster.
