Sophie Cunningham isn’t afraid to tell you how she feels about the WNBA’s referees, that’s for sure.

Earlier this month, Cunningham criticized the WNBA’s officiating on her “Show Me Something” podcast. She claimed refs are way too inconsistent on a nightly basis. The WNBA fined the Indiana Fever guard $1,500 for her comments.

Apparently, Cunningham isn’t afraid of taking on another $1,500 fine. On this Wednesday’s episode of “Show Me Something,” she said Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers received a generous whistle during last night’s game against the Fever.

“I love Paige to death, do not get me wrong. I think she’s a hell of a player and would love to play with her one day, but those refs were giving her every freaking whistle last night,” Cunningham said, via ClutchPoints. “Like you literally couldn’t touch her, couldn’t touch her. And that s**t is so annoying to me. And you’re going to do that, than give it to our guards.”

Cunningham wasn’t the only member of the Fever who ripped the WNBA’s officiating after Tuesday’s loss to the Wings.

Fever head coach Stephanie White ripped Tuesday’s refs for being inconsistent. She also said Aliyah Boston is the “worst officiated post player” in the league.

“t was a physical game. I think there’s a double standard in how people get their calls,” White said, via CBS Sports. “I think Kelsey Mitchell, No. 1, is held or chucked on every freaking possession and never gets a call off the ball. I think Aliyah Boston is the worst officiated post player in the league. She never gets a call. There’s a double-standard there, certainly.”

Suffice to say, the Fever aren’t satisfied with the current state of officiating in the WNBA.
