TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – Arizona Men’s Basketball great Sean Elliott is the program’s all-time leading scorer.
Arizona Basketball legend, NBA Champion and Spurs Analyst Sean Elliott will return to Tucson to golf for a good cause.
Next month, he’ll aim for the lowest score. He’ll participate in the ‘Golf Fore the Ages’ Tournament at Arizona National Golf Club. The fundraiser benefits St. Luke’s Home in Tucson, a nonprofit organization providing affordable assisted living for low-income seniors. Elliott has a personal connection to the cause. His brother, Bobby, has lived at St. Luke’s Home for nearly two years.
“He gets three healthy meals a day,” Elliott said. “He’s got activities. He has become a new person. It really saved him to be honest with you. I thought for a while there that he wasn’t going to make it after my mom passed away. We moved him in there and he has become a new person. He’s full of life, full of energy. I can’t say enough about the job they do there.”
The fundraiser will tee off on September 6 at the Arizona National Golf Club. You can register for the event here.Â
