The Dallas Mavericks have released their 2025-26 NBA schedule.
The team will begin the Cooper Flagg Era against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs, and the Mavs are also going to Mexico.
The season opener for Dallas and its new No. 1 overall draft pick will tip off at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at American Airlines Center against the Spurs.
Dallas opens the season with a five game homestand, its longest of the season. The stretch concludes with a matchup against the defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 27.
After the homestand, the Mavs will travel to Mexico City to face former No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham and the Detroit Pistons at 9 p.m. Nov. 1 at Arena CDMX.
Dallas will play its first true road game at the Houston Rockets at 7 p.m. Nov. 3.
Marquee games
The Mavs will play at the Golden State Warriors at 4 p.m. on Christmas as Klay Thompson will return to the franchise he won four NBA championships with.
Former Mavs star Luka Doncic, now with the Los Angeles Lakers after last season’s infamous trade, will welcome his former team to Cypto.com Arena at 9 p.m. Nov. 28, and he’ll make his return to Dallas at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24.
