OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — We now know which team the Oklahoma City Thunder will start their season against as the NBA released season schedules on Thursday.

The Thunder will face the Houston Rockets for its home opener on Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Paycom Center. Then, they’ll head to Indiana to face the Pacers on Oct. 23.

During the 2025-26 season, the Thunder will host 18 home weekend games consisting of six Friday, two Saturday, and 10 Sunday contests. Additionally, the Thunder will host seven homestands comprised of at least three games, including one five-game homestand from March 27 to April 5. Oklahoma City’s longest road trip of the season is five games from March 17 to 25.

Oklahoma City will host a Christmas Day game against the San Antonio Spurs and a New Year’s Eve game at 7 p.m. versus the Portland Trail Blazers at Paycom Center. The Thunder will travel to Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers on Jan. 19 at 1:30 p.m. for a Martin Luther King Jr. Day game.

The Thunder is scheduled to make 34 national broadcast appearances during the 2025-26 season with 10 games on Amazon Prime Video, eight games on ESPN/ESPN App, seven games on NBC/Peacock, five games on ABC/ESPN App, and four games on Peacock.

Of the 34 scheduled appearances on national platforms, 15 will be exclusive. All other games will be carried by FanDuel Sports Network, which is available through local cable, satellite, and virtual streaming partners. The local Thunder broadcasts can be accessed through the FanDuel Sports Network streaming app, which is also available for subscription through Amazon Prime.

Fans will be able to buy single-game tickets for October, November, and December home games starting at 10 a.m. on Sept. 18.
