Kittens named after Blazers’ opponents up for adoption

The Portland Trail Blazers are starting their season off on the right paw.

The team released their regular-season schedule Thursday.

As part of that announcement, the team partnered with Cat Adoption Team, a rescue in Sherwood, to feature kittens on Instagram.

Each kitten is named after an opponent.

For example, “Biggie Paws,” for the Brooklyn Nets, “M&M, for Detroit and “Deep Dish,” for the Chicago Bulls.

Every featured cat is up for adoption.
