As the Philadelphia 76ers prepare for the upcoming 2025-26 season, now is the time for players to get back in the gym and continuing to add to their respective games. The Sixers certainly want to move on and forget about a miserable 2024-25 season in which injuries decimated the roster.

As the Sixers now move forward with their offseason plans, second-year forward Justin Edwards is back in the gym and putting in work. Following a solid rookie season in which he averaged 10.1 points and shot 36.3% from deep as an undrafted player out of Kentucky, the Philadelphia native is now looking to take another step forward in his game.

Edwards was back in the gym working with trainer Chris Johnson–who also works with Sixers star Tyrese Maxey–as he looks to take his game to another level.

If Edwards can continue to take steps forward as a legitimate 3-point shooter, then the Sixers are going to be in great shape moving forward. He is an athletic player who can defend multiple positions and isn’t afraid of anybody. One has to believe the Sixers will find a spot for him in the rotation.
