Rising point guard Deron Rippey has scheduled a visit to Duke from October 23rd to October 25th. He’s getting lots of recruiting attention, with schools like Kentucky, Indiana, Alabama, Kansas and others in hot pursuit. Jai Lucas will host him at Miami near the end of the month.
He’s also considering NC State, which kind of underscores how quickly Will Wade has changed things in Raleigh. Obviously we’d prefer he pick Duke, but imagine for a moment how it would go over in Chapel Hill if he picked the Wolfpack over the Heels.
