Amari Williams must be eating his Weetabix. The 6-foot-10 center is currently ranked 48th in the CBS Sports NBA Draft big board, meaning he’d have a decent chance of being a second-round selection in next month’s draft.

No other Wildcats are ranked in the big board, which only has 50 prospects.

After winning three Colonial Athletic Association Defensive Players of the Year awards at Drexel, Williams came to Kentucky to be a part of Mark Pope’s first season in Lexington.

Williams will be remembered for his rebounding, shot-blocking, and versatility. He notched a triple-double at Ole Miss on February 4th, an apex of his versatility, helping the Wildcats navigate the SEC’s gauntlet while also dealing with a roster ravaged by injuries.

A native of Nottingham, England, Williams averaged 10.9 points and 8.5 rebounds while shooting 56.1 percent from the field. Williams had 10 double-doubles on the season, and he had a season-high 22 points against Arkansas on February 1st and a season-high 15 rebounds at Tennessee in the game prior on January 28th.
