The Golden State Warriors’ trade target has put up a stellar show in his recent EuroBasket game against a Portland Trail Blazers star.
They remain the only team in the NBA that have not made any meaningful moves in the offseason.
The Dubs have been navigating the Jonathan Kuminga situation, which seems to be a saga that will not come to an end anytime soon.
While they have been reported to be involved in talks with Al Horford, De’Anthony Melton and Gary Payton II to join as free agents, all these moves have been held over because of the Kuminga situation.
Teams like the Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns have reported their interest, but the Golden State Warriors are only ready to involve the 22-year-old in a trade on their terms.
They are still looking at other options to help Steph Curry out next season and one of them has just had a brilliant outing in the recent EuroBasket game.

Nikola Vucevic has been a name constantly involved in trade talks and could be the next player to leave the Chicago Bulls this offseason.
He has been playing for his national team, Montenegro, in the recent FIBA EuroBasket tournament and is leading by example.
In his most recent practice game, the player scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to help Montenegro secure an 88-76 win.
He was playing against his NBA counterpart, Deni Avdija, who did not have the best of games as he managed only 12 points.
The Warriors would be keen to bring Vucevic to the roster, but they will ideally wait for the Kuminga situation to resolve due to the complexity.
Vucevic would be a great fit on the Warriors
Vucevic has averaged 17.2 points and 10.5 rebounds throughout his career, which is sensational.
Having made two All-Star appearances, Vucevic is yet to be on a contending team, but that could change if he joins the Warriors.
They have the likes of Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green, who are all great players, but the Warriors need some more additions to help these veterans.

Players like Brandon Podziemski, Quentin Post and Gui Santos are still young, so relying on them alone will not be ideal.
Vucevic can help unlock new avenues in their offense as he can stretch the floor. If they sign Horford, he can be the defensive presence, as Vucevic is not reliable on that end of the floor.

The Warriors also have the likes of Green and Butler, who are brilliant on the defensive end, which is why they will have enough to prevent their opponents from scoring.
His ability to score and rebound are qualities that are beneficial for any team, which is why bringing Vucevic would definitely benefit them.

The 34-year-old is on the final year of his Bulls contract, which is why the franchise will be looking to trade him as losing him without gaining assets would not be great for them.
There are also reports that suggest he could be a candidate in the buyout market and if that happens, the Warriors should definitely try and bring him to their roster.
