Halloween: Milwaukee Bucks Giannis Antetokounmpo as Mr. Potato Head
Last year, Antetokounmpo wore an Incredible Hulk mask and hands into Fiserv Forum, then donned the look again for the postgame press conference.
Mariah Antetokounmpo shared some adorably candid birthday wishes on social media for her “little best friend.”
That would be Maverick Shai, Mariah’s and Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis’ second-born son, who’s celebrating his fourth birthday.
The couple — who tied the knot last summer — have four kids together: Oldest Liam Charles, Maverick and daughters Eva Brooke and Aria Capri, who was just born this spring.
Mariah’s Aug. 18 post began:
“Dear Maverick,
I pray that you continue asking questions, pushing boundaries, loving hard and driving me insane because these moments are short and I love every ounce of your craziness!”
She called Maverick the best brother and mama’s boy.
“We love you dearly!” Mariah continued. “Happy 4th Birthday to my little best friend! 💛💎🤟🏾”
The post included four photos — the most-fitting number — featuring the birthday boy, including one of him on the court with a basketball, sporting a mini-version of his dad’s jersey in purple and what look to be the Giannis Immortality 4 Nikes. And, another of his dad, lifting him up to make a shot on a hoop.
There’s also a picture of Maverick — in rain gear — walking between his parents, who are each holding one of his hands and umbrellas in the other, as well as one of the now-4-year-old all suited up.
Maverick’s birth was the inspiration behind the family’s first diaper drive — which has become an annual fixture in the community — with Milwaukee Diaper Mission to support local families in need.
