The table is set for UConn’s 2025-26 season as the school has finalized its non-conference slate on Monday. The 13-game schedule is loaded with marquee opponents, with two exhibitions as well. Eight of these games will be played at home, four at neutral sites, and one as the visiting team.

Two power conference opponents highlight the exhibition slate. The Huskies start their season at Mohegan Sun against Boston College on Oct. 13, playing the nightcap of an exhibition doubleheader with Geno Auriemma’s squad.

The women’s game will tip at 2 p.m. while the men are slated to start at 7 p.m. UConn won’t get back into action until the Huskies host Michigan State on October 28 in the first year of a home-and-home exhibition series with Tom Izzo’s team. It will be UConn’s first game at the freshly re-named and refurbished PeoplesBank Arena.

The first official game of the year tips off Nov. 3, when the Huskies play host to a four-team MTE. They’ll first play a newly-minted Division I program and in-state rival in New Haven before taking on UMass Lowell on Nov 7. and Columbia on Nov. 10.

Then the real work begins. UConn gets its first test against a top program when it travels to Boston’s TD Garden on Nov. 15 to play BYU. Former No. 1 high school prospect AJ Dybantsa and the Cougars are expected to be a nationally-contending team this year behind second-year head coach Kevin Young.

UConn will return home for its next two games, hosting Arizona at Gampel Pavilion on Nov. 19 and Bryant on Nov. 23 before facing off against Illinois in its first of two non-league games in Storrs South. The two teams will clash on Nov. 28 – Black Friday – at Madison Square Garden.

The only time UConn will truly hit the road will be Dec. 2, when the Huskies visit the Allen Fieldhouse to play Bill Self and Kansas. For the second year in a row, UConn will host East Texas A&M, doing so on Dec. 5. Last year, the Huskies trounced the Lions 81-46.

On Dec. 9, UConn will play its penultimate game before conference play, heading back to Madison Square Garden to play Florida in the Jimmy V Classic. The game marks a rematch of last year’s round-of-32 NCAA Tournament pairing, in which the Gators ended the Huskies’ season and three-peat hopes.

Non-conference play will come to a close Dec. 12 when UConn hosts Texas at the PeoplesBank Arena in the return game of a home-and-home agreement that began last year. The Huskies beat Texas by 10 points on the Longhorns’ turf last season.

The venues for UConn’s home matches against New Haven, UMass Lowell, Columbia, Bryant, and East Texas A&M are currently unknown. Outside of the Boston College exhibition, all other tip times have yet to be announced, as well.
