Maryland women’s basketball will face off against NC State in a preseason exhibition matchup, the team announced Monday.
The Terps will travel to Greensboro, North Carolina, to take on the Wolfpack on Oct. 26. The game will tip off a 2 p.m.
Last season, NC State advanced to the Sweet Sixteen in the NCAA Tournament after going 28-7 in the regular season. It defeated No. 15-seed Vermont and No. 7-seed Michigan State handily before succumbing to No. 3-seed LSU, 73-80.
This matchup should serve as a barometer for how head coach Brenda Frese’s squad compares to the nation’s elite heading into the 2025-26 campaign.
