STORRS, CT (WFSB) – The University of Connecticut men’s basketball team will face the likes of Boston College, Arizona, Kansas, and more to start the season.
UConn unveiled its 2025-2026 non-conference schedule on Tuesday, and it included six top 50 teams.
The Huskies face Boston College on Oct. 13 at Mohegan Sun Arena in exhibition action.
They’ll follow that game up with another exhibition against Michigan State at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford on Oct. 28.
The season opens on Nov. 3 against the University of New Haven, UMass-Lowell on Nov. 7, and Columbia on Nov. 10. Those three games will be at home.
The Huskies take on BYU, a projected top 10 team, at the TD Garden on Boston on Nov. 15.
UConn returns home to host Arizona, a projected top-20 team, on Nov. 19.
They’ll play Bryant on Nov. 23.
On Black Friday, Nov. 28, they take on Illinois at Madison Square Garden, aka “Storrs South.”
The Huskies travel to Allen Fieldhouse to take on Kansas on Dec. 2.
East Texas A&M comes to Connecticut on Dec. 5.
UConn plays defending champion Florida on Dec. 9 in New York City.
The non-conference portion of the schedule ends with a showdown between Texas and Connecticut on Dec. 12 in Hartford.
UConn said tip-off times and television information about all of the games would be posted here at a later date.
