The Oklahoma City Thunder announced the schedule for its 2025-2026 season this week. Last season, the Thunder clinched their first NBA title, so it’s not surprising that ticket prices for this season may seem a little steep.

The Thunder’s pre-season will begin on Sunday, Oct. 5 away against the Charlotte Hornets. But the Thunder will kickoff its regular season at home on Tuesday, Oct. 21 against the Houston Rockets. Loud City will definitely be bringing the thunder as Oklahoma City’s team starts a new season as champions.

When the season was announced on Tuesday, August 19, Thunder fans flocked to Ticketmaster to see if tickets were available and what prices would be. Tickets are currently available for pre-season games and most away games for the regular season. But most regular season games, including the home games, won’t be available for purchase until the general onsale at 10 a.m. Sept. 18.

How much are Thunder tickets?

If you’re planning to buy tickets to the Thunder’s home opener this season on Oct. 21, you can start planning out your seats and budget before tickets go on sale in September. For the home opener, tickets are currently priced starting at $181 at the very top of the Paycom Center, and as you get closer to the court, tickets get more expensive and are anywhere over $700.

All of the Thunder tickets are listed as ‘verified resale.’

However, all of the tickets currently listed on Ticketmaster are “verified resale tickets.” Ticketmaster is allowing people to go ahead and purchase the resale tickets before the general onsale in September. So it’s possible that Thunder ticket pricing may be different when they go on sale next month.

Unique Things to Do in Oklahoma City

There is no shortage of things to do in OKC. While there are a handful of things everyone knows about–OKC Zoo, Myriad Gardens, Bricktown, etc– there are even more lesser-known places to experience one-of-a-kind Oklahomaness. Some things cost a little money, others are completely free, but it’s all fun for the whole family.
