OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Omaha Women’s basketball 2025-26 Summit League schedule was released Wednesday, with the Mavericks set to take part in 16 Summit League matchups.
The first will take place Dec. 31 in Kansas City.
The Summit League women’s basketball conference is run in a double round-robin format. Each member competes against the other eight twice, once away and once at home.
Omaha will kick-off 2026 at home against South Dakota State Jan. 3, then on the road against North Dakota Jan. 8 and North Dakota State Jan. 10.
The team returns home Jan. 15 to face St. Thomas before heading to Tulsa to compete against Oral Roberts Jan. 17 and then return to the Baxter Arena to face South Dakota Jan. 22.
Head coach Jamie Carey, in her first year, will lead the Mavericks to Brookings, SD on Jan. 28 to face the Jackrabbits, followed by a three-game homestand which sees Kansas City Jan. 31, North Dakota Feb. 5 and North Dakota State Feb. 7 visit Omaha.
In February, Omaha heads to Denver Feb. 11, St. Thomas Feb. 14 and South Dakota Feb. 21.
The regular season will be concluded at home against Oral Roberts Feb. 25 and Denver Feb. 28.
The 2026 Summit League Women’s Basketball Championship begins March 4 in Sioux Falls, S.D. at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
