After playing two seasons with the Boston Celtics and winning one championship, Kristaps Porzingis joined the Atlanta Hawks in a three-team blockbuster trade. In this offseason, Porzingis is revealing his plans after finishing his NBA career.

In a previous interview, the Hawks’ Center mentioned that he wants to pursue an MMA career after he’s done playing basketball. Recently, after Latvia’s 86-104 loss to Greece in the Acropolis tournament opener, Porzingis hinted at a potential return to Europe after his NBA career.

When BasketNews asked Porzingis if he sees himself playing in Europe again, he said, “Sure, sure, why not? I mean, I haven’t really given it too much thought, but just seeing some of the clubs here in Greece, you know, the atmosphere here for the games and stuff would be a really, really unbelievable atmosphere to play in.”

When BasketNews asked Porzingis whether Greece would be his priority team, the 7’2″ Center smiled. In his response, he mentioned that it could be possible, but he needs to think about all the factors. He also expressed his love for the fans.
