In recent times, many NBA players have suffered agonizing ACL injuries.

To become an NBA star, the ability to stay fit is undoubtedly one of the most important factors. After all, even a single injury can result in a player being sidelined indefinitely.

The 2024-25 NBA season came as a bearer of bad news in terms of players suffering serious injuries. The likes of Jayson Tatum and Tyrese Haliburton were among the players who tore their Achilles tendon last season.

But that’s not all, aside from that, several players were sidelined due to another gruesome injury – the torn ACL.

After reaching the 2024 NBA Finals, the Dallas Mavericks fanbase was hoping for another terrific year led by the dynamic duo of Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic. In reality, it was arguably one of the most painful seasons for Mavs fans.

First, Doncic was traded to the LA Lakers. Despite that, Irving continued leading the team from the front. But at 33 years old, Irving’s body couldn’t handle the pressure as he tore his left ACL during the regular season.
