How can Amari Williams turn himself into a real Boston Celtics weapon? The former University of Kentucky star big man was picked up by the Celtics with the No. 46 overall pick of the 2025 NBA Draft, and recently signed with Boston on a two way deal that will likely see him playing with the Maine Celtics at the G League level for most of the season.

He did not look ready for NBA-adjacent levels of talent when playing with the Sin City Celtics at the NBA’s 2025 Las Vegas Summer League. But you could also see flashes of why Boston’s front office is intrigued by his potential, especially as a passer.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, took some time on a recent episode of their show to talk it over. Check it out below!
