Should Payton Pritchard start for the Boston Celtics next season? The NBA’s 2025 Sixth Man of the Year finds himself in position to potentially make the leap to a starting role after coming off the bench for Boston for the entirety of his career in the league to date, but there is a case for starting recent Celtics arrival Anfernee Simons in that role as well.
Does it make more sense to give Pritchard a shot to further spread his wings, given what he has been able to do for Boston every time he has had a shot at a bigger role? Or do the Celtics need to showcase Simons to get the best offer available in a trade before the 2026 deadline?
