Phoenix Suns insider breaks down Bradley Beal contract buyout
The Suns bought out guard Bradley Beal’s contract, ending his time in Phoenix. The Republic’s Duane Rankin explains what it means for the team.
Former Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal celebrated his 10th wedding anniversary with his wife, Kamiah Adams-Beal, by renewing their vows last weekend at Pelican Hill Resort just south of Newport Beach, California.
R&B solo artist Tank sang at the event.
Hip-Hop soldier Game performed at the reception and later wrote a heartfelt post on Instagram about the happy couple, with him being a “big brother” to Adams-Beal.
“A super mom and the glue to the Beal home front,” Game wrote.
Game also gave Beal props, calling him “true leader, amazing father and example to all who know you of how to be a REAL man.”
Game’s post included a picture of him standing beside former Suns forward Kevin Durant. Beal and Durant were teammates in Phoenix for two seasons (2023-25).
The Suns traded Kevin Durant to Houston before the 2025 NBA Draft in what proved to be a historic seven-team and bought out Beal, who later signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Suns star guard Devin Booker, former Suns assistant James Posey and former Suns players Josh Okogie and Damion Lee liked Adams-Beal’s IG posts of her and Beal.
Clippers guard James Harden, singer Syleena Johnson, actress Vivica A. Fox, NBA analyst Rachel Nichols, and Avery Johnson Jr. also liked her posts.
Beal’s former Washington Wizards teammate John Wall was also at the anniversary celebration. Wall recently announced his retirement and will serve as an analyst on Amazon Prime this 2025-26 season.
Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum was a groomsman at the event. Both from St. Louis, Tatum and Beal are friends.
Looks like Jayson Tatum was a groomsman at Bradley Beal’s wedding💍
Ironically, so was Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who committed a hard foul or two on Tatum in the 2025 playoffs.
