DURHAM, N.C. – Twelve former Blue Devils represent Duke on postseason rosters as the NBA Playoffs officially get underway on Saturday, April 20.
Half of the 16 playoff teams have at least one Blue Devil on the squad, including Duke duos with the Orlando Magic, Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers and New Orleans Pelicans.
Eastern Conference
#1 Boston Celtics – Jayson Tatum
#5 Orlando Magic – Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter Jr.
Western Conference
#3 Minnesota Timberwolves – Wendell Moore Jr.
#4 Los Angeles Clippers – Mason Plumlee
#5 Dallas Mavericks – Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively II
#6 Phoenix Suns – Grayson Allen
#7 Los Angeles Lakers – Harry Giles III and Cam Reddish
#8 New Orleans Pelicans – Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson
The number of former Blue Devils to compete in the NBA postseason increases to 14 when adding the Play-In Tournament, which included AJ Griffin and Jalen Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks.
Duke had 24 players on NBA rosters at the conclusion of the regular season.
