Former Memphis Grizzlies guard Tony Allen has been selected for the Memphis Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2025.The induction ceremony will take place on Oct. 21 at the Renasant Convention Center.Allen joins Zach Randolph and Hubie Brown as Grizzlies representatives in the Hall of Fame.
The Memphis Sports Hall of Fame has announced its Class of 2025, and a second former Memphis Grizzlies player is soon to be inducted.
Tony Allen, whose jersey was retired at FedExForum during the 2025 season following his seven-year Grizzlies tenure from 2010-17, is one of the 10 members of the newest class to inducted Oct. 21 at the Renasant Convention Center. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m., and tickets can be purchased online.
Allen joins former Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph (2024 class) and former coach Hubie Brown (2023 class) from the Grizzlies organization to be inducted.
“Memphis gave me ‘All Heart. Grit. Grind.’ and to be inducted into the Memphis Sports Hall of Fame means everything to me,” Allen said in an Aug. 26 release. “It’s a blessing to be recognized alongside so many Memphis legends.”
