EuroBasket has seen its first major surprise result, with Sandro Mamukelashvili at the heart of it.
The New York Knicks discovered late in the regular season that if you run into Sandro Mamukelashvili on the wrong night, he will make you pay.
Mamukelashvili scored a spectacular 34 points in just 20 minutes from the bench to lead the San Antonio Spurs to an upset win in March.
Now he has done it again, helping to produce an even more memorable upset for his nation.

EuroBasket Georgia vs SpainMamukelashvili now with the Toronto Raptors
Sandro Mamukelashvili’s performance will be of particular interest to Toronto Raptors fans, after the franchise signed him in the offseason.
He signed a two-year deal worth $5.5 million in early July, with the Raptors keen to sign extra depth, adding the second round draft pick.
The 26-year-old is on his third NBA team after stints with the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs.
Amid a wide open Eastern Conference, the Raptors aim to show some improvement, and if they can get some consistently strong performances from Mamukelashvili, then they might have a chance.
