Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic can play basketball anywhere and do it at an incredibly high level.
Jokic led Team Serbia to another win at EuroBasket on Friday, moving his country to 2-0 in group play.
Serbia beat Portugal 80-69 and Jokic put up 23 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks. He was an incredibly efficient 8-10 from the field and made all six free throws he shot.
Portugal puts up a fight, but Serbia 🇷🇸 remains perfect thanks to Jokic’s impressive performance. #EuroBasket

This is just who Nikola Jokic is, shining on the world stage or in the NBA with the Nuggets. He’s won three of the last five NBA MVPs, and has a strong case he should’ve won five in a row.
Up next, Serbia will play Czechia on Monday, followed by Turkey on Wednesday. They look to be the best team in the tournament, and that’s obviously in large part due to the dominance of Jokic.
If (and when) Serbia gets out of group play, the Round of 16 will begin next Saturday. From there, Jokic will look to add another championship to his resume.
He got one of those with the Nuggets in 2023, and helped lead Serbia to a bronze medal in the Olympics last summer after putting a scare into Team USA in the semifinals.
