The Tomah Timberwolves hosted the West Salem Panthers in a non-conference showdown on Friday night.
After earning a safety, Panthers QB Drew McConkey took the ball himself on a keeper into the end zone to put West Salem up 9-0 early.
Tomah responded with under two minutes remaining in the second quarter as the Timberwolves QB Quinn Gerke launched a high-arching throw into the end zone that Silas Cram came down with for the score to make it 9-6.
On the very next drive, McConkey again took the ball into the end zone again, making it 16-6 heading into halftime.
West Salem would add on more in the second half, and take this one 37-6 over Tomah.
West Salem will take on Viroqua at home next Friday at 7:00 PM.
Tomah take on Baraboo next Friday at 7:00 PM.
