The Hall of Fame is the pinnacle of sporting greatness and the NBA has seen some iconic players be inducted into it in recent years.
Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Kobe Bryant are some of the greats who were inducted into the Naismith basketball Hall of Fame because of what they did in the NBA.
Kendrick Perkins is a player who has had the honor of sharing the court with some Hall of Famers like Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen.
The likes of LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are all future Hall of Famers, who have also been teammates with Perkins.
While these names are obvious first ballot Hall of Famers, Perkins believes another one of his former teammates should be in it and even compared him to Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller.

Rajon Rondo was on the Boston Celtics team that had the Big 3 of Pierce, Garnett and Allen.
However, he was the piece that brought their strengths together with his elite IQ and passing.
Rondo won the 2008 championship with the Celtics and went on to add another one with the LA Lakers in 2020, which showcases his longevity at the elite level.
Perkins believes Rondo’s resume suggests he should be in the Hall of Fame and to make his argument strong he compared his accolades to Pacers legend Miller.

Speaking on the Road Trippin podcast, Perkins said: “Rondo his resume tells me he should be a Hall of Famer… Rondo should be in the Hall of Fame.
“If you look at his resume, four-time All-Star, led the league in assists, I think twice, and led the league in steals, two-time NBA champion, all I’m saying is and I hope nobody takes this with disrespect.
“Reggie Miller he made five All-Stars in his career, never made first team All-NBA, what I’m saying is Reggie Miller made All-NBA Third team three times, Rondo four-time All-Star, assists leader, steals leader and two-time NBA champ.
“All I’m asking is Reggie Miller and I get it franchise guy, Mr. Pacer… Rajon Rondo needs to be in the Hall of Fame.”
Rondo was a brilliant basketball mind
As a basketball player, Rondo had elite knowledge and was drawn to the X’s and O’s of the game.
He had some flashy passes in his repertoire, but also knew when to use them effectively.
The Celtics had some big personalities, but Rondo was never afraid to hold them accountable and while this often led to off-the-court problems, on the basketball floor, they were elite.
Even when he went to the Lakers, Rondo made things very easy for James and Anthony Davis.
He was not at the same level physically, but his IQ allowed him to be a valuable piece in their championship run.
Rondo has expressed interest in coaching and suggested Cade Cunningham as one of the players he would like to mentor.
He played a small role for the Milwaukee Bucks coaching staff and will continue to be around other teams as well.
Rondo is also one of the top flag football quarterbacks in the U.S. and at 39, could be on his way to greatness in another sport.
