In another matchup of NBA big men, Alperen Sengun and Turkey got the best of Neemias Queta and Portugal with a 93-54 blowout victory (box score) in Saturday’s FIBA EuroBasket 2025 action.

All Group A games (standings) are being played in Latvia. Turkey is now 3-0 through five group-stage games and has already clinched a spot in the knockout rounds (final 16 teams).

In limited duty due to the margin, Sengun posted 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists, and his Turkish side was +23 in those 21 minutes. He made 9-of-13 shots (69.2%).

Queta finished with 15 points and 7 rebounds on 4-of-8 shooting, though Portugal (1-2 in group play) went -22 in his 24 minutes.

Sengun was an All-Star last season with the Houston Rockets, while Queta is potentially in line for a starting role next season with the Boston Celtics.

Both sides were playing on the second day of a back-to-back, with Turkey coming off Friday’s victory over Czechia and Portugal an 11-point loss to Serbia.
