LeBron James has a legendary career in the NBA and has played against several stars, including Tyronn Lue. The Los Angeles Lakers star is entering his 22nd season in the league and continues to shine. Amid the growing speculation regarding his trade, the big man still looks casual and focuses on playing more efficiently. His historic block in the 2016 finals remains in the elite list of memories that defined his career so far.
His trade speculation added more fuel when the veteran guard worked out at the Los Angeles Clippers facility. However, Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue gave a casual response to this move. Recently, on the Shay Shay podcast appearance, Lue spoke about James’ early days with the Miami Heat.
At that time, Lue was the head coach of the Boston Celtics, while James was playing at an elite level for his team, the Miami Heat. The clash between the two teams cooled down with James’ significant 45-point knock. “I saw the look in LeBron’s eyes. We didn’t think he was going to get 45. … I still have nightmares about that game,” Tyronn Lue said.
James can still surpass big names around the league. Despite being 40, his ability and experience on the court made him stand tall in the Lakers franchise. Though the big man passes the responsibility to his fellow young teammate, Luka Doncic, for leading the team in the future, His contribution remains unmatched, and Luka acknowledged that.

Kobe Bryant was known for his drive to be the best. He played 20 years with the Lakers and wanted everyone to know it was his team. Tyronn Lue, his former teammate, said Kobe challenged every new player to one-on-one games to prove themselves.
Tyronn Lue admitted that he never beat Kobe in one-on-one, even though he was a great player too. That’s how focused and skilled Kobe was. “Every day, my cousin was like, ‘Man, why can’t you beat him?’ He’d beat me every damn time. I was a great 1-on-1 player, like I’m like, man, I don’t know why I can’t beat this dude. A year or two went by, and Kobe became Kobe,”he added.
Kobe retired in 2016 with five NBA titles and left behind his legendary era, which inspired many. His Mamba Mentality is still in the hearts of millions.
