It’s summertime in the NBA, so it’s time to learn some history. The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the older franchises in the NBA. Their history dates to the 1949-50 season.

With that longevity, the team has had hundreds of players come through the City of Brotherly Love. Sixers Wire looks at the No. 19 which has been worn by only four of those players in the history of the franchise. This running series will go through all of the uniform numbers worn in franchise history.

Here is the list of the four players who have worn No. 19 in Sixers history:

Raja Bell

Bell wore No. 19 for only five games in the 2000-01 season before he switched to No. 11. He averaged 1 point and 0.2 rebounds in those five games.

Furkan Aldemir

Aldemir played 41 games for The Process Sixers in the 2014-15 season, and he averaged 2.3 points and 4.3 rebounds. Those 41 games were the only games he played in the NBA.

Raul Neto

Neto spent one season in Philadelphia, and he averaged 5.1 points and 1.8 assists in 54 games with three starts. He shot 38.6% from deep and he won the backup point guard battle from Trey Burke.

Justin Edwards

Edwards wore No. 19 in his rookie season in 2024-25 and averaged 10.1 points and 3.4 rebounds. He will switch to No. 11 going forward as the Philadelphia native looks to build off his strong rookie season and earn a permanent spot in coach Nick Nurse’s rotation.
