It’s summertime in the NBA, so it’s time to learn some history. The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the older franchises in the NBA. Their history dates to the 1949-50 season.
With that longevity, the team has had hundreds of players come through the City of Brotherly Love. Sixers Wire looks at the No. 18 which has been worn by eight of those players in the history of the franchise. This running series will go through all of the uniform numbers worn in franchise history.

It was initially thought to be a game-winning 3 as confetti rained down from the rafters at the Wells Fargo Center. It was then ruled a 2 and the game went to overtime, where the Boston Celtics took a 3-0 series lead.

The No. 54 pick of the 2018 NBA draft, Milton spent five seasons with the Sixers and averaged 9.3 points, 2.7 assists, and 2.4 rebounds for Philadelphia. He was a steady presence for them off the bench while also taking on a starter’s role for the Sixers in the 2019-20 season. He averaged 9.4 points that season and then averaged 14.5 points while shooting 40% from deep in the bubble playoffs.
