It’s the summertime in the NBA and now is the time for players to get their final days of relaxation in before getting ready to go again for the 2025-26 season. The Philadelphia 76ers will be one of the teams looking to contend in the upcoming season if they can get a clean bill of health for their star players.
One of those star players is Paul George who the Sixers signed to a 4-year $212 million deal in the 2024 offseason. His first year in Philadelphia was a disappointment as he played in only 41 games and his numbers were down across the board as injuries slowed him down. If George can return healthy, the Sixers will be in much better shape for 2025-26.
With that being said, it’s still the offseason and popular streamer IShowSpeed ran into George and had an important question for him. He asked George if he was from Philadelphia and George was incredulous at his question as he told Speed: “I play here!”
Speed certainly needs to brush up on his NBA knowledge a bit as George prepares for his second season with the Sixers.
