The Cleveland Cavaliers announced Tuesday (Sept. 2) they will return to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. for training camp for the second consecutive year.

“Returning to IMG Academy is a testament to the tremendous experience we had there last year,” said Cavaliers President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman. “The overall engagement, both at the Bradenton facility and throughout that community, was an invaluable part of our preseason preparations.”

They were the first team to use the state-of-the-art facility on the Sunshine State’s Gulf Coast. Prior training camps were held at Capital University in Columbus.

The team’s annual Media Day will take place Sept. 29 with training camp beginning Sept. 30 and lasting until Oct. 5 before the team begins a four-game pre-season schedule.

The Cavs owned the second-best record in the NBA at 64-18, but lost in the NBA playoffs in the second round to the Indiana Pacers.
