Pacers team president Kevin Pritchard talks Tyrese Haliburton injury
Pacers team president Kevin Pritchard discusses Tyrese Haliburton’s injury and future on Monday, July 7, 2025, in the Ascension St. Vincent Center in Indianapolis.
The Noblesville Boom — the Pacers’ re-named and re-located G-League affiliate — will play its first game this season on the road on Nov. 7 against the Grand Rapids Gold, then play its first home game at 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 at The Arena at Innovation Mile on Nov. 8 against the Gold. The Gold are the Denver Nuggets‘ affiliate.
G League teams released their schedules Tuesday. The Boom will play at least 50 games with possibly more depending on their success in the Tip-Off Tournament which includes the first 14 games prior to the G-League Winter Showcase in Orlando Dec. 19-22. The Boom will play 24 home games with the second coming Dec. 22 against the Motor City Cruise, the Pistons’ affiliate.
The Boom were known as the Fort Wayne Mad Ants from 2007-23, playing their games at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Pacers Sports & Entertainment announced in May of 2023 that they would move the team to Noblesville to be closer to the parent club. The last two seasons, the team has been known as the Indiana Mad Ants and played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse while The Arena at Innovation Mile was being constructed.
