SAN ANTONIO – Well, we know at least one fella from around here that’ll be pulling for Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers to win their first NBA championship.

San Antonio’s very Jeff Foster played 13 seasons in the NBA – all with Indiana.

In Jeff’s rookie season, the Pacers made it to the NBA Finals in 2000, eventually losing to the Lakers.

Jeff played in over 50 career playoff games, but his team never made it back. And no other Pacers team had been back since either. Until now.

We caught up with the former Madison and Texas State star before he heads to Indy to watch Games 3 and 4 in person.

Funny story how he missed watching Game 1, stuck at the airport.
