The 2025-26 season is approaching quickly in the NBA and teams are beginning their final preparation for the grind of an 82-game season. The Philadelphia 76ers are no different as they begin to look ahead to what they hope will be a bounce-back season.

The Sixers will hope for better health from up and down the roster as they will be looking to Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey to lead the way. Their star trio played a combined 18 games–finishing only 15 of them–and the other supporting cast players were dealing with injuries as well.

Andre Drummond was one of those players dealing with an injury. A bothersome toe issue limited him to only 40 games, but the two-time All-Star is back in the gym getting ready to help this group out on the floor again.

When healthy, Drummond is still a serviceable big man capable of giving the Sixers a lot of help on the interior and be a reliable backup to Embiid. Unfortunately, injuries dashed any hopes Philadelphia had at contending in 2024-25 so it has to look forward to the new season and hope for better health.
