With the 2025 Hall of Fame class being enshrined on Saturday, one has to wonder what the next crop of Hall of Famers will look like. There is so much talent in today’s NBA and there are a lot of players who can make a case for themselves already before their careers come to an end.

One player who has a strong case is Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George. Although his first season in the City of Brotherly Love was a tough one as injuries slowed him down, there is no doubt that he has put together a stellar career with averages of 20.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists while being named an All-Star nine times and being named All-NBA six times in his 15 seasons in the league thus far.

Throw in his team accomplishments of guiding the Indiana Pacers to the Eastern Conference finals twice as well as leading the Los Angeles Clippers to their only Western Conference finals appearance in franchise history, and George should be a lock.

ESPN put it this way:

With nine All-Star appearances and six All-NBA nods, George is also a lock. Every retired player in NBA history with at least six All-NBA appearances is in the Hall of Fame.

Before the injuries, George was a marvel and a legitimate superstar in this league. He threw the Pacers on his back multiple times during his prime and had a lot of big moments with the Clippers while also being an MVP candidate with the Oklahoma City Thunder. When it’s all said and done, George should be headed to the Hall.
