ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that the 35-year-old six-time All-Star is eyeing title contenders such as the Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors, or Dallas Mavericks as his next destination.
While there has been no formal request for a trade, Butler is “believed to be ready for his exit.” Even more, he hopes any deal will be completed before the league trade deadline on Feb. 6.

Charania, however, also added that the franchise is already looking into moving forward with a “rising core of Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro.”
