Boston Celtics big man Neemias Queta just had an amazing run with the Portuguese National Team in FIBA EuroBasket play. In the highly-regarded European tourney, Queta had the best debut of any player in years vs. the Czech National Team, and helped Portugal pick up their first victory in the history of the tournament.
But the Lisbon native and his national squad did not quit there — they also picked up their second win in tourney history against the Estonian National Team to advance to the knockout round of FIBA EuroBasket play, falling to the German National Team in the final quarter after a strong showing in the first three frames.
