No. 1 Georgia women’s tennis released its fall 2025 schedule on Thursday, with the season beginning Friday, Sept. 12. The Bulldogs are slated for a packed lineup of tournaments across the country. 

Coming off a shutout NCAA National Championship win against Texas A&M, the Bulldogs’ returners will be joined by five new members to complete the roster.. 

Georgia will start its season in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, to compete in the Kitty Harrison Invitational from Sept. 12 to 14. The Bulldogs close out their September schedule with a week-long run at ITA All-Americans from Sept. 20 to 28. Last September, all members of the team were eliminated from the main draw of the tournament. 

The W100 Edmond in Edmond, Oklahoma kicks off Georgia’s stretch of professional tournaments from Oct. 6 to 12. Last October, senior Sofia Rojas participated in the W75 Edmond tournament, but fell short in the second round of the qualifying draw. Senior Anastasiia Lopata also made a run in the tournament, but faced a loss in the semifinals. 

The team returns to Georgia to compete in the W100 Macon tournament from Oct. 13 to 19. A group of Bulldogs will head to Orlando, Florida to play in the ITA Regionals from Oct. 16 to 20. Last October, the doubles pair of junior Aysegul Mert and former Bulldog Guillermina Grant reached the doubles finals at ITA Regionals, but fell short. 

Georgia can also be seen at the W35 Norman tournament in Norman, Oklahoma. from Oct. 20 to 26. At the same time, the Bulldogs will take part in the Rome Collegiate Invite in Rome, Georgia from Oct. 24 t o26. 

The last month of fall play will begin with Georgia returning to Orlando for the W35 Orlando tournament from Nov. 3 to 9. The team will split to participate in the ITA Sectionals and ITA Conference Masters from Nov. 6 to 9. Last November, the Bulldogs hosted the ITA Sectionals, but lost in both the singles and doubles finals. 

The fall season will wrap up with the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships from Nov. 18 to 23 in Orlando. Last November, former Bulldog Dasha Vidmanova became Georgia’s fourth-ever player to secure the NCAA Singles title.
