Two of the top in-state basketball prospects in the senior class announced their college commitments on Sunday.
Lawrence North forward Brennan Miller, an Indiana Junior All-Star last season, committed to Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on Sunday morning. Later in the day, following his official visit, Noblesville guard Justin Curry announced his commitment to Valparaiso.
The 6-7 Miller averaged 13.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game as a junior to help Lawrence North to a 22-7 record and the championship game of the Class 4A semistate. Miller shot 35.3% from the 3-point line.
The 6-3 Curry, a core Junior All-Star, averaged 15.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game for the 19-6 Millers.
Curry is rated as the No. 3 prospect in the 2026 class by IndyStar and Miller No. 10. Mt. Vernon’s Luke Ertel (Purdue), Plainfield’s Noah Smith (DePaul), Crown Point’s Dikembe Shaw (Illinois-Chicago), Ben Davis’ JaShawn Ladd (Akron), Noblesville Baron Walker (Butler) and Crown Point’s Mason Darrell (Bellarmine) are other players in the class currently committed to Division I schools.
