Boston Celtics big man Neemias Queta just made history with the Portuguese National Team. He also got ejected from the game he helped make history in. The Lisbon native was ejected in the third frame of a game between his native Portugal and the Estonian National Team in FIBA EuroBasket play.
The ejection of course stirred up quite a bit of debate given the official being on the other side of the court from what looked like a pretty mild celebration of a made basket with a call for a foul coming with it. But the Portuguese National Team still managed to pull out the W even with Queta riding the pine, helping Portugal advance for the first time in EuroBasket history.
