What happened to Kristaps Porzingis with the Boston Celtics in the 2025 NBA Playoffs? We know that the Latvian big man had a mysterious viral malady that kept him from being able to play at the high level the Celtics needed him to in order to have a shot against the New York Knicks in the 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals.
But what was going on from his own point of view has mostly stayed a mystery since the Celtics got bounced in the wake of the Achilles tendon injury to star Boston forward Jayson Tatum. Until now, that is, with Porzingis taking some time to talk about the virus and how it impacted him after a FIBA EuroBasket game.
