The Brooklyn Nets have been making plenty of moves this season as they prepare for a 2025-26 NBA season in which they will be seeing some of their younger players take the floor. Brooklyn began the offseason by drafting five players in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft headlined by guard Egor Demin, the eighth overall pick in what could be a fairly-deep class.
Along the way, the Nets have made some trades to add certain players to the roster like forward Michael Porter Jr., forward Terance Mann, and forward Haywood Highsmith to strength the wing depth. During the offseason, Brooklyn also took care of business by re-signing their own free-agents in Cam Thomas, center Day’Ron Sharpe, and forward Ziaire Williams.
The latest move that the Nets did was re-signing Williams on Monday to a two-year, $12.5 million contract as Brooklyn gave Williams an extra $500,000 for giving the team time to figure out how to spend its league-leading cap space.
