Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves head into Game 4 on the road against the Golden State Warriors on Monday with a 2-1 series lead.
The Golden State Warriors (1-2) have looked like a shell of themselves since the 8:19 mark of the second quarter in Game 1. That is when Steph Curry came up holding his hamstring, which has changed the Western Conference semifinals against the Minnesota Timberwolves (2-1). Injuries happen in every series and every playoffs. The impact of Curry is being felt on the offensive end for Golden State. When Curry left Game 1 his team was up by 10, shooting 46.6 percent from three-point range and assisting on 82 percent of their made baskets. Without Curry on the court the gravity changes, with Minnesota outscoring Golden State by 28 points, limiting the offense to just 36.5 percent shooting from three and assists on just 69.3 percent of made baskets.

Minnesota has capitalized on the absence of Curry by winning the last two games of the series. Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle played one of their best games of the season together in Game 3, combining for 60 points, 16 assists and 12 rebounds.
Jimmy Butler came to play in Game 3, leading the Warriors with 33 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. He was one of just three players to score in double figures, along with Johnathan Kuminga, who scored 30 points off the bench and Buddy Hield chipping in 14 points.
The rest of the offense was anemic, finishing with just 20 points on 7-of-26 shooting, including 1-of-7 from three on their homecourt.
