Louisville men’s basketball announces its 2025-26 ACC schedule with first-time trips to Cal and Stanford.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville men’s basketball team has released its full 2025-25 conference schedule.
While official tip-off times and TV details have yet to be announced, the schedule features nine home games and several key matchups.
The Cardinals will begin ACC play with a rare trip to the west coast, facing Cal on either Dec. 30 or 31 before playing Stanford on Jan 2. This marks their first conference visit to California since Cal and Standford joined the ACC.
Louisville returns to the KFC Yum! Center for a marquee matchup against Duke on Jan. 6 or 7 in a rematch of last season’s ACC Championship. The game kicks off a three-game homestead including contests against Boston College (Jan.10) and Virginia (Jan. 13 or 14).
The Cards go on the road to Pittsburgh on Jan. 17 precedes a one-week break before the Cards return home to host Virginia again on Jan. 24. Louisville then heads to Durham to face Duke on Jan. 26 before closing the month with a home game against SMU on Jan. 31.
The February slate starts with a home game against Notre Dame (Feb. 3 or 4), followed by a challenging stretch of six road games in their final nine. That stretch begins with a notable visit to Wake Forest on Feb. 7 – the former coaching home of Louisville head coach Pat Kelsey.
After a brief home stop against NC State on Feb. 9, Louisville travels to Texas to face Baylor in a non-conference game on Feb. 14 before resuming ACC play at SMU on Feb. 17 or 18.
Louisville hosts Georgia Tech on Feb. 21 in their final Saturday home game before facing North Carolina in Chapel Hill on Feb. 23. Their regular season concludes with games at Clemson (Feb. 28), at home against Syracuse (March 3 or 4), and a road finale at Miami on March 7.
The 2026 ACC Tournament will be held March 10-14 in Charlotte at the Spectrum Center.
Louisville enters the season with a 270-197 all-time record.
