Army women’s basketball will open the 2025-26 season on November 3, and has a Nov. 16 date at Oregon as part of its 11-game non-conference schedule.
Katie Kuester will make her head coaching debut against NCAA Div. II Pace University, in a 5 p.m. start at Christl Arena – the Army men follow with an 8 p.m. game against NCAA Div. III SUNY Maritime.
The Black Knights will also host Siena (Nov. 13), New Hampshire (Nov. 20), Massachusetts (Dec. 6) and Howard (Dec. 29).
The road slate begins Nov. 8 at Saint Thomas, Minn., again part of a women’s and men’s doubleheader. Army travels to Oregon a week later, as well as Saint Francis, Pa. (Nov. 22), Eastern Kentucky (Nov. 29), Saint Peter’s (Dec. 3) and Cornell (Dec. 9).
Oregon – one of the former Pac 12 teams that moved to the Big 10 last season – was 20-12 and 10-8 in league play. The Ducks lost in the second round of the Big 10 tourney to Indiana, and beat Vanderbilt and lost to Duke in the NCAA tournament.
Army senior co-captain Reese Ericson hails from Lake Oswego, Ore., so this will be an opportunity to play two hours from her hometown.
The Patriot League schedule should be announced soon.
