X’s and O’s with LeRoy Butler: The Micah Parsons effect for Packers
LeRoy Butler shows how Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley used the illusion of a blitz to cause a key fourth-down stop.
Myles Turner sure looks great in a cheesehead!
The new Milwaukee Bucks center was sporting his new headgear as he took in his first Green Bay Packers game at Lambeau Field on Thursday night, Sept. 11.
He had a custom cheesehead made for him that read “Myles” on the back.
And he had a teammate to enjoy the game with in his suite: AJ Green. The Bucks guard also wore a cheeshead that included his Dairy Bird nickname.
Before the Packers’ game against the Washington Commanders for “Thursday Night Football,” Turner took in the sights and sounds on the field.
“First Lambeau Field experience, man,” Turner said on the Packers’ official X account. “It’s the place to be right now. Shoutout Green Bay.”
Turner and Green weren’t the only sports stars from Milwaukee at Lambeau Field.
Several members of the Milwaukee Brewers were at the game and on the field pre-game. Joey Ortiz and Caleb Durbin were even wearing white cheeseheads in honor for the Packers’ “Winter Warning” whiteout game.
Durbin and Turner posed for a photo on the field.
Turner, signed by the Bucks in a massive free agent deal this summer, arrived in Milwaukee last week and quickly started immersing himself into the community, seeking out recommendations from fans on social media.
And now it doesn’t get any more Wisconsin than a Packers game at Lambeau Field while wearing a cheesehead.
