It was another disappointing season last year for the Toronto Raptors as they finished with a 30-52 record which resulted in them missing the playoffs for the third consecutive season.

Of course, the Raptors have built a solid core led by Scottie Barnes, Jakob Poeltl, RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley.

They will also see Brandon Ingram make his franchise debut after he missed most of last season due to an ankle injury after they acquired him from the New Orleans Pelicans at the trade deadline.

Toronto also made some notable moves this offseason as they signed Sandro Mamukelashvili in free agency and selected Collin Murray-Boyles ninth overall in the 2025 draft.

With these moves, the Raptors could make a push for a playoff spot, or at least a Play-In spot, this season and they could also elect to make more moves ahead of the trade deadline. If that is the case, these three players could be on the move.

Barrett has been the subject of trade rumors since he arrived in Toronto in 2024 in the trade that sent OG Anunoby to the New York Knicks.

The 25-year-old guard has turned into a solid all-around player as he averaged 21.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game last season.

Despite this, Barrett is still in trade rumors entering the new season and if Toronto does decide to move him, there could be interest from many teams around the NBA looking to add the young guard to their roster.

Like Barrett, Quickley was also a part of the Anunoby trade in 2024 and he has also been in trade rumors since the Raptors acquired him.

The 26-year-old guard played in only 33 games last season due to injuries and his production took a hit because of it.

Despite this, Quickley still put together a solid season last year and if the Raptors make him available, the young guard could draw interest from multiple teams around the NBA in need of a starting or backup point guard.

Jonathan Mogbo showed promise in his rookie season last year after Toronto selected him 31st overall in the 2024 draft.

The 23-year-old forward had a solid role with the Raptors last season but with Ingram returning and the addition of Murray-Boyles, his minutes could see a cut this season.

If that is the case, the Raptors could listen to offers for him as there should be some interest in him from other teams around the league in need of frontcourt depth.

While the Raptors could make some moves this season, they may hold off and see how their current core works together but if they struggle like they did last season, it would not be a surprise to see them make changes.
